What should I consider when choosing between AHD and traditional CVBS systems?
There are many factors to consider when choosing between AHD and traditional CVBS, including compatibility with other systems and bandwidth/memory capacity if connecting to a mobile digital recorder. (AHD systems will use more bandwidth for transmission and will take up more memory for the same time period). For the best HD quality results, all parts of the system should be AHD.
This Kit Includes:
• 1 x VBV-7000C (5464) – AHD Camera
• 1 x VBV-770HM (5611) – 7″ HD Monitor
• 1 x VBV-H420 (5513) – 20m HD Extension Cable
Compatibility
Brigade HD cables can be used instead of traditional CVBS cables for all Brigade SELECT camera monitor systems.
Brigade HD cameras can be used with the MDR-500 series Mobile Digital Recorders.
Brigade traditional CVBS cameras can be used with HD monitors however the image will NOT be HD.
Brigade traditional CVBS monitors are NOT compatible with HD cameras.
